This Past Week Update, September 18-24

     I've had a cold for the past week, and unfortunately I've allowed it to block my sketching. Here I've sketched one of my workers during break on last Monday.

     Then my cold kicked into overdrive, I didn't sketch (with a live subject) until Sunday when I attended my first sketch crawl with the Columbus chapter of Urban Sketchers. We were downtown sketching the old "old" Columbus (Ohio) post office. The first two were bits pig the building, which had an amazing amount of detail to pay attention to.

     My energy was flagging a bit so I sketched two of my fellow artists.

     I have another sketch, it just needs some color. The sketch crawl was fun and it was great meeting some ood the wonderful artists from the group. 

     Afterwards I attended the tenth anniversary celebration of a Westerville coffee shop, Java Central. They had  music, and I completed a sketch of a duo but unfortunately I didn't get their name.

     I had a very productive Sunday, and I hope to shake this cold very soon. It seems to be clinging to me, but I continue to fight it. There will definitely be an update this Friday. Thanks for your patience, take care!
